Welcome to Rolling Cheese 's Sunday workshop, where butter is both material and pleasure!

In the workshop you will make your own butter candle from top quality Normandy butter. You will get to flavor the candle with a selection of herbs and spices, and of course the finished candle is yours to take home.

"What is a butter candle?"

A butter candle is an edible candle made from real butter and wick. The butter candle, which has become a trend on social media, is lit like a candle, allowing the butter to melt slowly and is delicious and fun to dip with bread or cheese.

Once the candles are lit, we'll serve a casual brunch. We'll serve pre-made butter candles, fresh French bread, a carefully selected cheese selection, and thoughtful side dishes - in classic Rolling Cheese style. It's a fun, hands-on event where we get to indulge in the best ingredients.

  • Time and place: Sunday, March 15th, 11:00-13:00. Rolling Cheese, Töölö.
  • Tickets: €55. Includes guided butter candle workshop, materials, your own butter candle (approx. 150-200g), and brunch. Drinks not included.
  • Event language: Finnish
  • Please note: The event cannot be held lactose-free, gluten-free or unpasteurized. The event is suitable for vegetarians!

Since the catering at events is always organized according to the theme, unfortunately it is not always possible for us to offer alternative products, such as lactose-free, pasteurized, gluten-free, or products suitable for vegetarian diets. We always try to inform you about these on individual event pages. Please inform us in advance about other allergies. You can also get more information by contacting info@rollingcheese.fi.

Although we are usually a child and dog friendly cheese shop, our event is designed for adults only. So please leave your pets, children and strollers at home for the event.

After purchasing a ticket for an event, you will receive a confirmation email. We do not send a separate e-ticket or similar to the event; we will find your participation information through your order. You will receive an email from us a couple of days before the event, where we will confirm the event details.

Please arrive at the event on time.

Please notify us of any cancellations as soon as possible by emailing info@rollingcheese.fi and no later than 48 hours before the event starts. For cancellations made after this time, we will retain 50% of the ticket price.

For cancellations made after the event has started, we will retain 100% of the ticket price.
