General Terms and Conditions
1. Seller and Customer Service Information
The seller is Rolling Cheese Oy (Business ID 3192789-6), Museokatu 20–22, 00100 Helsinki, Finland. You can contact us by email at info@rollingcheese.fi or by phone at +358 50 539 5067 from Tuesday to Saturday between 10:00–20:00, excluding public holidays.
2. Product Prices and Currency
All prices are stated in euros (€) and include VAT. Any additional costs, such as seasonal charges or handling fees for fresh products, are displayed on the product page.
3. Delivery Charges, Times and Restrictions
- Delivery methods: home delivery or in-store collection.
- Delivery fees start from €9.90 (the exact fee is calculated at checkout).
- Delivery and collection times are selected by the customer at checkout.
- Delivery areas: Finland’s eight largest cities (Helsinki, Espoo, Tampere, Turku, Oulu, Jyväskylä, Lahti, Kuopio). Delivery availability can be confirmed by contacting us or by entering your postcode in the cart page postcode field.
4. Payment Methods and Timing
Available payment methods at no additional charge: Card payments (Visa, Mastercard, Debit & Credit, American Express).
Payment is made at the time of placing the order.
5. Conclusion of Contract and Order Confirmation
The contract is concluded when the consumer confirms the order by clicking the button clearly marked “Pay now”.
After confirmation, the consumer will receive an order confirmation by email containing the order details, including products, prices, delivery costs, and the selected payment method.
6. Right of Withdrawal and Returns
6.1 General Right of Withdrawal
Consumers have a 14-day right of withdrawal without giving any reason, in accordance with Chapter 6 of the Finnish Consumer Protection Act.
The withdrawal period begins when the consumer (or a third party designated by the consumer, other than the carrier) receives the final item of the order.
6.2 Exceptions for Food Products
The right of withdrawal does not apply to food products which, due to their nature, cannot be returned for hygiene reasons, are liable to deteriorate rapidly, or whose quality may otherwise be compromised (Consumer Protection Act, Chapter 6, Section 18).
This includes, for example, chilled cheeses, charcuterie, and other unpackaged or perishable food products.
6.3 Return Conditions
Withdrawal notice: The consumer may use the EU standard withdrawal form or submit a free-form written notice.
Return costs: The consumer is responsible for return shipping costs.
Products must be returned without undue delay and no later than 14 days from the withdrawal notice, in their original packaging, to:

7. Transfer of Ownership
Ownership of the product transfers to the consumer once the purchase price and any applicable delivery costs have been paid in full.
8. Gift Cards
Rolling Cheese gift cards are valid until the expiry date indicated on the card. The validity period will not be extended unless agreed in writing before the expiry date.
Expired gift cards will not be accepted, and Rolling Cheese is not obligated to provide goods or services once the validity period has ended.
Gift cards cannot be exchanged for cash. Lost or stolen gift cards will not be replaced or refunded.
Gift cards are single-use payment instruments that may be redeemed in-store or in the Rolling Cheese online shop. Gift cards are always subject to the terms and conditions in force at the time of use.
9. Liability for Defects and Warranty
The seller’s liability for defects is governed by the Finnish Consumer Protection Act.
In the case of a defective product, the consumer is entitled to a price reduction, repair, replacement, or termination of the contract in accordance with applicable law.
If a product is covered by a separate manufacturer’s warranty, the warranty terms and duration will be stated on the product page.

11.2 Dispute Resolution
If a dispute cannot be resolved directly between the parties, the consumer may refer the matter to the Finnish Consumer Disputes Board (www.kuluttajariita.fi).
