Producers & Imports

Rolling Cheese acts as the official importer in Finland for several European cheese, deli, and gourmet food producers. In practice, this means that all products you find at our counter and on our shelves come to us directly from the producers or with minimal intermediaries.

We select our products in the same way we would build our own dinner table: taste first. We don't try to gather the widest possible selection, but rather products that truly have their place in the kitchen, on a cheese board, or alongside a glass of wine. It is also important for us to bring products to the Finnish market that simply cannot be found in supermarkets, wholesalers, or the selections of other importers.

We are particularly interested in smaller producers, strong origins, traditional production methods, and products that do not feel generic. Some of our partners are among the world's most renowned names in artisan cheeses and deli products, while others are small family businesses we have encountered during our travels, at fairs, or in dairies across different corners of Europe.

We have collaborated with many of our producers for years, and almost all of the products are ones we also use daily in our own kitchen, cheese counter, and wine bar.
