Cheesemonger & Deli in Töölö

Rolling Cheese is a small independent cheese shop and deli in Etu-Töölö, Helsinki. We specialise in artisan and farmhouse cheeses, charcuterie, and carefully selected deli products from Europe – especially from France, Italy, Portugal, and Great Britain.

Our selection is built around products with real people, places, and traditions behind them. We import all our products ourselves, so we know the producers, dairies, and manufacturers personally. For us, it's not about the largest possible selection, but the best possible selection.

From our cheese counter, you'll find both classics and rarer farmhouse cheeses from Neal's Yard Dairy in Britain, Mons Fromager Affineur in France, and selected small producers in Italy and Switzerland. In addition, our selection includes European charcuterie, tinned fish, olives, antipasti, chutneys, jams, sauces, olive oils, and other deli delicacies that we also use daily in our own kitchen and wine bar.

Fresh bread and baguettes are also available daily from our shop, sourced from the French boulangerie in Lauttasaari, Le Jardin.

Rolling Cheese is not built around trends, but taste. If a product ends up on our shelf, there is usually a good reason – and often a good story – behind it.
