The name Barriquet means barrel; its name and shape are a tribute to the Côte Roannaise vineyards that surround the dairy.

This goat cheese has a velvety soft, semi-hard texture and a firm rind reminiscent of an aged barrel, allowing for good shelf life and a broad and balanced aromatic flavor.
