Named after a mountain in the Three Lakes region, Mont Vully, or more familiarly 'Vully Rouge', is a particularly aromatic semi-hard cow's milk cheese.

The rustic Vully Rouge cheese was created in 1994. The idea was to create a cheese typical of the village of Cressier that would help further diversify the gastronomy of the Fribourg region.

The cheese is recognizable by its bright orange color and raised grape patterns. The cheese is rubbed with Pinot Noir from the slopes of Vully throughout the ripening process, which gives it a deliciously rich and long flavor.
