Hand-stretched authentic breadsticks with 100% Italian extra virgin olive oil (12%)

Grissini originated in Turin in the 17th century. The long, thin breadsticks were developed as a more digestible alternative to stale bread, becoming a Piedmontese classic.

Rinaldi's grissini are stretched by hand, one at a time. The dough is held by the ends and pulled long - the same way bakers have done for generations. It shows in the shape: each stick is slightly different. And it feels in the texture: dry, crispy and easily crumbly.

The dough uses Rinaldi's 100% Italian extra virgin olive oil. It gives the taste a clean, olive tone without being heavy. The ingredients are simple: wheat flour, olive oil, salt, yeast.

It works as an aperitif with cheeses and cold cuts, alongside soup or as a dessert, for example with chocolate spread.

MEET THE PRODUCER

Casa Rinaldi was born in Alba in 1947, along the ancient Salt Route. This route had connected Piedmont and Liguria for centuries: agricultural products were exported from the north, and olive oil, salt and salted anchovies were brought back. Trade was not just about exchanging goods, but also about the movement of flavours and know-how between regions. Founder Alfredo Rinaldi saw an opportunity here. In the small villages of the Langhe, products were not bought in shops - they were delivered to the doorstep. Extra virgin olive oil, preserves and everyday essentials were passed from house to house, and at the same time the trust was created on which the company was built. Casa Rinaldi grew from this idea: a quality product, a direct connection to people and a strong bond with the flavours of Piedmont and Liguria. Olive oil remains at the heart of the business, but around it has been built a wider range of Italian staples, emphasizing origin, careful selection and consistent quality. Today, Casa Rinaldi combines the long tradition of a family business with modern distribution. The core is still the same as it was at the beginning - a good product that deserves a place on the everyday table.
