MEET THE PRODUCER
It all started when Karl Oberhofer set up his butcher shop on Spitalgasse in Brunico. The company's motto was one word: quality. This principle has remained the cornerstone of the company to this day. Towards the end of World War II, Karl Oberhofer's nephew, Paul Bernardi, took over the management of the company. He bought the old Hochgruber house in the centre of Brunico, where the company's retail store has been located since 1962. However, the current company was only born thanks to the passion of Paul's son, Karl Bernardi. His love for traditional South Tyrolean products shaped the company into what it is today. We have been working with Karl since the beginning of Rolling Cheese, and we can say that his products are among the best in South Tyrol.
