Burrata, which means "butter" in Italian, is a wonderful fresh cheese consisting of a Mozzarella bag filled with creamy stracchiatella. When cut, the insides ooze out captivatingly!

Burrata is a delicacy originating from the Murgia region of Puglia, which It was first manufactured commercially by the Bianchini family in Andria in the 1920s.

Burratina is a smaller, 125 gram version of traditional burrata.
