A small, handmade, soft goat's milk cheese from Provence, wrapped in chestnut leaves. The cheese is aged for only 10 days. The milk comes from Rove goats, a breed native to Provence and known for its particularly rich, honeyed flavour. No salt is added to the cheese, but it gets a pleasant tannin from the chestnut leaves.

The name Mistralou comes from Provence's famous Mistral wind . This soft goat cheese is like an extension of the region's nature - it has a creaminess, a light tartness and a natural balance that makes it a versatile cheese for both the cheese platter and as a finishing touch to dishes.
