MEET THE PRODUCER
Casa Rinaldi was born in Alba in 1947, along the ancient Salt Route. This route had connected Piedmont and Liguria for centuries: agricultural products were exported from the north, and olive oil, salt and salted anchovies were brought back. Trade was not just about exchanging goods, but also about the movement of flavours and know-how between regions. Founder Alfredo Rinaldi saw an opportunity here. In the small villages of the Langhe, products were not bought in shops - they were delivered to the doorstep. Extra virgin olive oil, preserves and everyday essentials were passed from house to house, and at the same time the trust was created on which the company was built. Casa Rinaldi grew from this idea: a quality product, a direct connection to people and a strong bond with the flavours of Piedmont and Liguria. Olive oil remains at the heart of the business, but around it has been built a wider range of Italian staples, emphasizing origin, careful selection and consistent quality. Today, Casa Rinaldi combines the long tradition of a family business with modern distribution. The core is still the same as it was at the beginning - a good product that deserves a place on the everyday table.
