AN ATMOSPHERIC EVENING BY TÖÖLÖNLAHTI
VENUE
Enjoy a three-course dinner at Tokoinranta Event Venue, right on the shore of Töölönlahti and just moments from central Helsinki. The historic building, views across the bay and the November cityscape create a calm, festive setting for a long evening of good food and wine.
A THREE-COURSE DINNER BY ONE OF HELSINKI’S HOTTEST CHEFS
MENU
The evening’s three-course menu is created by Simo Harrivaara, one of the hottest chefs in Helsinki right now. With more than 15 years in Helsinki’s restaurant scene, Simo is known for ingredient-led, seasonal cooking, and lately he has been appearing across the city as a guest chef, at pop-ups and at special one-night-only dinners, including Olo’s 20th anniversary dinner and Brasa’s summer guest-chef series. In 2024, he also won Finland’s Chef of the Year competition.
For this evening, Simo is creating a menu around the cheeses made by our visiting cheesemakers — Joe Schneider’s Stichelton, Tim Jones’s Lincolnshire Poacher and Graham Kirkham’s Kirkham’s Lancashire — alongside the very best seasonal ingredients November has to offer.
THE VERY BEST IN BRITISH CHEESE
SPECIAL GUESTS

JOE SCHNEIDER - STICHELTON
Joe makes Stichelton in Nottinghamshire. Made from raw milk using traditional methods, Stichelton is one of the cheeses that made Rolling Cheese fall in love with British cheese culture in the first place.

Tim Jones - Lincolnshire Poacher
On the Jones family farm in Lincolnshire, Lincolnshire Poacher is made using milk from their own herd - aged, full-flavoured and wonderfully complex farmhouse cheese.

Graham Kirkham – Kirkham’s Lancashire
The Kirkham family make Lancashire on their farm using the same traditional method that has been passed down through the family for generations. Kirkham’s is now the last traditional Lancashire still made on the farm from raw milk.
Also joining us is Karim Lashinat from Neal’s Yard Dairy, who works with the cheeses of these and many other of Britain’s finest small-scale producers.
The party continues after dinner
After dinner, the bar stays open and the evening continues at an easy pace. You can buy more drinks from the bar, taste cheeses from our visiting cheesemakers, meet the evening’s guests and stay to enjoy the Christmas party atmosphere well into the nigh
