Maison Marc's gherkins are grown in Chemilly-sur-Yonne, Burgundy. They are hand-picked and canned immediately in the farm's own cannery, which is practically next to the field. This ensures that they remain exceptionally crisp.
Aigre-doux means sweet and sour. In addition to vinegar, the broth is also seasoned with a little sugar, mustard seeds, dill, and a little chili, which adds a light heat to the background.
A perfect addition to a cheese platter, with charcuterie or between a good sandwich.
