Tomme Tressee is a French hard goat cheese handcrafted from organic raw milk, with a flavor that combines classic goatiness with a full-bodied hazelnut flavor.

The beautiful braided decoration on the surface of the cheese is an echo of the Loire Valley tradition of maturing cheeses in braided baskets. The milk for Tressee cheese comes from the cheesemaker's own farm, in the Côte Roanne province. The secret manufacturing process gives the cheese an almost silky smooth texture, which, combined with the sour and nutty taste, makes the cheese unique!

During the ripening period, which lasts about four months, the surface of the cheese is wiped with mild salt water and turned by hand once a week.
